Point of Sales System (POS):    
 


TIS implemented this Point of Sales System for a retail customer, to empower their ERP solution. With Inventory Management and an inbuilt payment system, the POS Software is seamlessly integrated with our Client's ERP Application. The POS Software becomes front end for the sales / Inventory Process with the ERP serving as the back end.

Some of the features it provides are:

  • Access control proving access only to Authenticated Users with Valid machines

  • Privileges are maintained with given set of Users

  • If required, depending on Available stock privileged User can also generate Purchase Order

  • At any given point of time Administrator can monitor all the logged in users

  • Customer's shipping address can be modified and also newly added.

  • A proper sales process which includes selection of products as per requirement and on spot checking of inventory stock.

  • Sales process flow includes - creation of Sales Quotations - Sales Order - Payment - Shipment - Sales Invoice - Returns - Refunds.

  • Purchases can be done using the application and user can transfer the stock within different locations.

  • Customized Routing option to map the direction from pickup inventory process till Deliver stock process

  • Contact Management feature is an added feature of POS as it helps activity handling like fixing an appointment with customer for demonstration of product, purchases, renewal of contract with Customer, task reminders and progress of work assigned to sales representatives.

 
Bidding Utility System:    
 


Bidding Utility System created and implemented as an enhancement on an ERP system, to provide the customer with a complete analytical and comparative data on bids from different vendors for different items. The application loads data from a data repository and represents it in structured tables, giving a clear picture of cost of items. The application calculates the best bid comparing the average cost of items bided by different vendors.

Bidding Utility restricts the purchase of items from a particular vendor or country if those are banned for that respective item. The application helps in creating Demit Memo for an item and a new purchase receipt against the same item, in situations when good purchases are defective.

Both client and vendor can login to the secure website to view the bidding on an item. Some of the features are:

  • Cost comparison chart for items from different vendors

  • Details of last top ten Purchases and Sales of particular items with cost of each item, Vendor details and Date of Transaction

  • Purchase Receipt and Debit Memo generation for individual items

  • Banning purchases of item from particular country or vendor

Bidding Utility Workflow System is a multi user web based application created using Active Server Pages.
